How to Report a Discord Scammer
Follow these steps to submit evidence of Discord scammers. Screenshots must include the user's ID.

Enable Developer Mode & Gather Evidence
- Enable Developer Mode in Discord Settings ⇾ Advanced to access user IDs.
- Take screenshots showing the entire conversation and the scammer's username.
- Right click the scammer's profile and select "Copy ID" to get their unique identifier.
- Capture transaction details including payment confirmations and receipts.
- Save the server invite link where the scam occurred for context.
- Note the exact date and time of the incident in your report.
- Organize your evidence chronologically to show the sequence of events.

Verification Process
- Our team manually reviews all reports within 24-48 hours of submission.
- We verify evidence validity and confirm malicious intent before action.
- Verified scammers are added to our public database with their Discord ID.
- Repeat offenders are flagged for Discord's Trust & Safety team review.
- False or insufficient reports are discarded to maintain database integrity.
- No follow up is usually needed unless we require additional information.
- This process helps protect the wider Discord community from known scammers.
